Bolt question on enfield no 1 mk 3

Can't get the bolt out. Pulled it back, flipped the little lever up and the bolt won't slide out. Help

Push the little up till it snaps past a little catch.

You should hear an audible click. At least on mine you do. If you still can't get it, post some pictures. Don't get frustrated and start beating on it yet.

Is your magazine out, or does it even matter? I can't remember, and my No 1 is at the back of the safe.

I tried it with the magazine in and with it out. Had the safety forward and back. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

In this photo, it looks like the lever may not be fully raised in place to allow the bolt to slide the rest of the way out. But it could just be the picture.

Have a couple that are really Tight ,
And then they Just POP out when every thing is lined up right

To get the bolt out you must depress the little catch on the right side just past the bridge. The rear sight must be in the upright position also so the head will pass.

Yes you were correct. Pulling the bolt back I gave it a slight love tap in the 1 to 12 o'clock direction with my small rubber hammer and it slid back and out. Very keen observation!
