Refurb sickness

Post by Chrome Moly Vampire »

LGS just got about 20 boxes in from Century. $139 plus tax. Dammit, dammit, dammit.

Good Christ. I am so weak. This is horrible. When does it end? How many is enough? I can't catch the dragon! Why do they keep talking?

I'm starting to smell like cosmoline and Hoppe's.

Let me guess. Cosmoline has psychotropic properties. All you long timers let innocents find out for themselves. Big inside joke on new Mosin junkies, right? Giant chuckle for everyone.

DAMN IT. This has to stop.

Well, maybe not right now.....

Stay strong resist the urge to buy one do not be seduced by the one that talks to you
You cannot buy one Mosin you must buy three .......................
I feel your pain and anguish I shot my only mosin for the first time yesterday, Today I was thinking of going to the metrolina gun show Saturday to pick up a spam can of fun and just maybe, maybe I say look at a carbine or handle a Finn should one be laying around.
Is there a 12 step program for Mosinitis?
Yeah I know
step 1. buy one mosin
step 2. buy second mosin
continue until you reach 12 right

Take two aspirin, a shot of Stoli and go buy another M91/30. You will feel better in the morning. "Panic:

You are absolutely right refurbs are a sickness! Real Mosins don't breed like rabbits! You more than likely have bought many more Mosins than I have this year and more than likley spent less money too. But I like the look of what I have in the long run. I would like to say my craving is under control but I know better! Bill

It really does seem to become a disease of sorts. I started with 1 Mosin 2 months ago. I now have 4. At this rate I am going to need a large capacity safe soon. Unlike most diseases however, this one is quite enjoyable. If the darn things cost more I don't feel it would be such as issue. But @ approx $150 how can you not buy these rifles? Makes me mad that I had not discovered these 10 years back when I read peoples comments that they ran $50-75 a pop.

that covers it in my little world. sold over 10 Mosins in the last year. just sold my beautiful 1944 Laminated M-44 to get more ammo 7.62-54r and 7.62-39 a gun is no good without ammo. and it looks like CA is going to make it harder to buy ammo. i now have a life time supply.
