I'm sure if I dug through some of my stashes I could find a few more. I recall seeing a 32 special in one of my loose ammo drawers along with a .243. Now I'll have to go through them again.

I think I still have a Dardick tround someplace Now there was an oddball round!
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

An oddball round for a whacky gun but I would still buy one if I ran across one cheap. Would also buy a Gyrojet if I ran across one cheap. Looked at one years back but the store wanted $1500. It sold fast. He had a few boxes of rockets for it to.

Thanks for the compliments on the collection, I found a Mosin Training rifle today I'm thinking of getting, red painted line around the stock with a light blue z on one side...what would something like this in rough shape be worth, maybe 5% bluing, counter bored, it is a 1943 Tula, only the receiver and buttplate match, looks rather strange. She said she would do $150.
Also bought some possibly German ammo pouch that had 24 rounds of 8mm mauser in it.

You could get these odd rounds from Numrich years ago, they may still have some.

I would have more (yes there is the small fact I am poor lol) but the two more Mosins I have on the way - providing I get approval for them - will have to be the end. Once the new PTAs come in questions would be asked why I have so many guns of one calibre...so another club (Collectors) membership and the extra expense of further licensing etc would be just too much. I will have to be happy with 5

How much that set you back JYD? Not that there is anywhere to shoot the fifty here but 10 rounds would be roughly $300, or so I heard once lol
On average I pay a dollar or two a round when I find them at flea markets. A lot of GI's brought these rounds home to show the kid brother, and they end up for sale sooner or later. Most of mine are WW2 dated.

Well that's economical enough not to need a second mortgage if you did own a .50 lol
