Finding an empty crate

Post by zedteamk2 »

Any suggestions on how to find one?
I've tried google, but everything comes up with rifles in it. I'd love one like that, but dont want to spend the $$

I found a place that always sold a lot of Mosins and stopped in about once a week and just kept asking. They were tossing them out as they emptied them. Probably a lot harder to find one now that they are not getting as many.

You definitely gotta get out and beat the bushes. It would be worth driving up to 50 miles each way to get one I think, or maybe 100 if you take a buddy with you and stop for some delicous bbq ribs! If you tried to have it shipped it would be outta sight. :P

If you are in Ohio, both AIM and SOG have them available for no cost. Just pick them up at the curb.

I asked at a local shop that was buying them by the crate, they were happy to sell me two empty crates..
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I make a lot of trips to Ohio but even with free checked baggage it might be an issue. :chuckles:

Man, I'm in N.E. Ohio, but it just might be worth the 4 or 5 hour drive down to AIN or SOG to get an empty crate...
