Four bucks a can?! I thought we were bad at three bucks a can, and we usually lead the nation in high prices.

Yeah it's about $3+ here in Louisiana at Wal-Mart but I found it for $2.50 at the Dollar General store last week.

JYD You moking one of my previous post !!!! I'm open minded, i think every 30 years or so i'll try it. Wife brought home a can of Bacon Spam for my am breakfast !!!!! As others, wife will have no part of Spam.

Bacon Spam is good stuff, I had some this morning, saved back a few slices for tomorrow's breakfast, thought about eating them now but had some pepperoni instead.

I try not to get to carried away eating Spam, it is a major part of my emergancy food supply and should I need to use it I would like to feel as if I am eating a treat and not just the same stuff I eat every day. Maybe the only pleasure I have as I watch the needle on the geiger counter swing into the red by the light of a candle .

I think i'll just sit in my chair on the porch and watch the flash and the mushroom cloud rising into the sky and wait for the ultimate sunburn ! Oh yes, some popcorn would be nice too !

OK JYD Here it is, The Spam was OK, a bit to salty for me, but for a man cave breakfast ( beer included ) was great. Even made my homefries from scatch ! ( Food Network Look Out )

Soo after reading all of this i had my wife bring me home a can of spam. I am 26 and have never had spam before.. Well the can is empty it is AWESOME... I fried it and made sandwiches with it.. You all got me hooked on Milsurps and now Spam

In these uncertain times I have taken the precaution of doubling my weekly Spam purchase from two cans to four. I eat one can, sometimes two, the others go into the bunker. That's 52 shopping trips a year, 104 cans a year into the stash, with a few extra for when I don't eat two cans in a week.
