Western Field Bolt Action
Re: Western Field Bolt Action
Considering how long Montgomery Wards has been out of business, that shotgun looks B-rand new
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Looks good! I have a pair of Mossberg Bolts in 20 & 16. Fun old guns.

I have one in 12 gauge that looks like it was shot once and put away since 1955. Knowing how quickly some people get into, and out of hunting around here I would not be surprised if that was the case.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

That's just the camera. It is pretty clean, but it's got nicks here and there. I don't know if I should stain it or not. The blueing however does look brand new, along with the sights. Hardly any residue in the barrel or anywhere for that matter. Should be a fun toy for my jealous friends.Ironnewt wrote:Considering how long Montgomery Wards has been out of business, that shotgun looks B-rand new

What we needed were some closeups of the shotgun.BlakeM44 wrote:http://s1151.photobucket.com/albums/o640/blakem441/
