"Collectors Forum" - All Mosin Nagant are discussed here. Also the Russian and "Finnish capture" SVT38 and SVT40. This is an excellent place for new Mosin owners to ask questions. We have some of the best experts here looking forward to your questions. If you post a Mosin sniper rifle here, we may or may not move it to the sniper forum.

Preservation forum, please no altered military surplus rifles or discussions on altering in this forum. No sportsters. Please read the rules at the top of each forum

As the rules say, I'm just here to say hello as I just signed up fpr the forum. I'm in Texas and the proud owner of 20 or so mosin nagants of all different types. I look forward to chatting with you all and learning alot about my favorite hobby.

Welcome. You do know about the new "dues" rule right? One of your "brood" to the East coast, one to the West. Ship JYD and Dolk each a M/N. Nothing fancy, a nice Dragoon or 1907 carbine will be fine.

Crap that ain't nothing go buy the Devils Paintbrush about the Maxim Machinegun and Hiram Maxim it cost over two weeks food bill but I can afford to lose the weight! :lol:

I stopped buying gun books in the 90's after the prices started to match that of gold, besides they take up so much room. I would make an exception for K-H's book's on the Mosin if they ever get translated into English. They want hundreds of dollars used for some of the big gun books I bought back then.
