Preservation forum, please no altered military surplus rifles or discussions on altering in this forum. No sportsters. Please read the rules at the top of each forum

I'm glade you found us. Great to see some of the "very old timers"! I went to the forum you haunted last and I see it is just about gone, We need to see if we can get some of those "very old timers" to come visit!

Thanks all glad to see familiar folks here :) Layed off for a few weeks and home with a new litter of pups. Been on the road working for the last year so alot of catching up on gun projects and cleaning. Have three on the bench right now ;) Won't be a stranger here at all!!!! :D

My two carry guns were filthy from a year of constant carrying while on the road.............. all pretty and clean again :) I have a M48 sniper thats a jewel to scope and put rings and bases on. My second project is a Finn P-26. A former owner cut the receiver in two (why I don't know) and all thats left is a receiver stub and barrel. The bore is like a jewel and NS just happens to have a spare hex receiver that was drilled for the PE style hex base ;) Kinda sorta saving one :lol: . My last project is a '44 dated mosin round receiver that I bought for ten bucks years ago stripped nothing but receiver. Its gonna get a heavy barrel and a custom made stock and will be accurized and modified for long range accuracy.
