1947 Izhevsk M44

Post by Rongo »

1947 Izhevsk M44, prefix-stamped matching on the bolt, floorplate & buttplate, all original Izhevsk parts throughout, Absolutely a mirror, new-looking bore, the blue is deep & looks to be original, Light finish on the stock & the whole rifle looks & feels to be un-refurbished. Has an interesting Numerich Gun Parts import stamp making it an older import & one not seen very often. I would say it's a bit nicer than my 46 Izhevsk... And that's saying a lot. I took over 100 pictures trying to capture the fine quality blued finish on this one & the pictures just don't do it justice. Overall a gorgeous & near new looking Post War Soviet M44.
