Well, trip to the range was a flop, ( as far as sighting in the new front post. I knew it was longer than the original,but seemed to screw in far enough " wrong " tried to adjust it at the range and it bottomed out. Got home and took about a 3/16 of of it, looks good. Maybe back to the ran...

Well ! Since i just got my first SKS , and i have over a 1,000 rounds of 7.62 x 54r in stock, i better load up on 7.62 x 39. But , would prefer to buy a mountain place in West Virginia. Hell, hopefully i''ll and the misses will be dead before !! jim

Not due to recoil, i know what a 100 rounds with my M44 feels like, just many hours there, but age is creeping in !!!!

According to Tech Sight, it maintans zero when removed and reinstalled for cleaning. If i do it, i will go with the Tech Sight. let me know how the range trip goes.

Anyone had any experience with adding the Tech Sight Aperature ( Peep ) Sight to there SKS ??? Heard they really improve accuracy without trying the scope crap !!! Thanks Jim :thumbsup:

I'm much more familiar with Mosin's . lamys are always more expensive. The SKS is new to me, i just purchased a Chinese SKS, which with help from the forum, turns out to be, most likely Russian. I haveno way to date it .
