Re: daudeteau 71/95, used as a forming die and brass/ammo making
Finaly was able to get out to quick test. Limited time and deep snow so no picks of shooting but after I returned from trip clean up https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170302/5760c8d3aa4b945e5f2c0e7efbfe5a23.jpg Shot ok with no problems and an easy report. All in all it was nice to bark the old maus...

Re: 1954 No.4 Mk.2
nice looker. The post war rifles are in great shape for the most part. There is a list for the pf numbers which I am sure you have but I have not seen a discussion of them being concrete.

Re: My k31 got lonely... (lots of pics) and question on other Swiss rifles
Very nice. The 1889 you will have to use low pressure rounds to shoot it but the k11s at 350 is about market price. I think if I found a decent one local at that I would buy. The 1889 at 250 is a buy for sure from what I see on gb. I would love to find some swiss around my parts

Re: daudeteau 71/95, used as a forming die and brass/ammo making
You maybe right. I could definitely be confusing the two. I will have to find where I saw one listed for sale. It could also have been a typo or mistake. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk[/quote] No I'm pretty sure I have seen mention of them on gunboards. Cant remember which country but I thought it...

The only rifles I can find mention of are Serbian converted m78/80 or m80/06.

Re: daudeteau 71/95, used as a forming die and brass/ammo making
No you are confusing 2 rifles. I have "heard" that some original M71 mausers were changed to 7mm after they adopted the later mausers but the daudeteau is in itself an "upgraded" rifle. Now I have never seen the m71s in 7mm but I hear there are a few floating around somewhere. Th...

Re: daudeteau 71/95, used as a forming die and brass/ammo making
Amazing Brad.. You're light years in from me :) Never would have thought to use the chamber as a final neck sizing die... I think I read it somewhere Tom. I read a ton of stuff all around the net but cant ever seem to find it again when I need it  I will add that I do have the neck die but thi...

Re: daudeteau 71/95, used as a forming die and brass/ammo making
Finished the test loads. 140gr flat base and 140gr boats. Published oal that I can find listed 3.02 max but I couldn't get that. I settled on 2.980 for tests, cases were trimmed to 2.09. I can lower them that way if I need to https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170129/cf93f6836ba0770f2020605cde1c840b...
