Re: Let's wish Zeebill luck....

Groggy is good, that means the pain meds are working. Best wishes Zeebill, I hope this one is as easy or easier than the last.

Re: 1972 Romanian M1969 Trainer

One thing I forgot to ask. The bore on this 22 is very tight. So tight I cannot use a standard bore snake on it. The bore snake will not go through the bore, it gets stuck at the end of the bore snake where he loop is formed. This spot is normally tight, but I've never had one this tight. Anyone els...

Re: Reloading Sellier and bellot 7.62x54R

I prefer PPU once-fired brass for reloading. PPU primer pockets seem much more uniform. Where do you get once fired reloadable brass? I would particularly like to find the 7.62 x 51 NATO 308 brass as my surplus is all Berdan primed. I have bought a lot of brass for various calibers off Craigs...

1972 Romanian M1969 Trainer

Yesterday I took a couple revolvers to the range. On my way out I made a quick pass through the gun counter and they had a lot more used guns than normal. Their firearms selection had been getting pretty thin lately, which is odd because other shops in town are stacked to the brim. On the racks I no...

Re: I'm back and in the market for a M91

Hey guys! I'm looking for the best place to find a M91 to add to my collection, I'd prefer not to use an auction site if at all possible. And it doesn't matter to me if its Finnish capture or not. Any ideas? I think there were a couple for sale here on the forum recently Sent from my LG-V410 using ...

Re: First AR Build

Just a heads up, You can have all your stuff on the same order. Psa will ship the lower to the ffl you selected and all other parts will be shipped directly to you. Thanks, I was not sure how they would do it. I will know next time. UPS attempted delivery of my parts kit early today while I was at ...

Re: BubbaDX Feeds His Gun Addiction

Sure, we should go shooting sometime. I have a membership at Top Gun. A coworker just joined the Arnold Gun Club so we are talking about going there one day real soon. He just purchased his first AR and wanted a place to shoot it.

Re: BubbaDX Feeds His Gun Addiction

All I can say is WOW, what a revolver. I am really liking this one and I cannot wait to take it to the range. As promised, here are some pictures. It has the original clamshell case, documentation, the spent casing in a sealed envelope and other paperwork. Even a Ruger sticker that I assume came wit...

BubbaDX Feeds His Gun Addiction

I have come to realize that I may in fact have a problem. I definitely can no longer be trusted to go home at work without an escort to make sure I don't visit the gun store. So I wanted a handgun case that would hold my new-to-me S&W Sigma that I picked up just 2 weeks ago. So I made a quick pa...

Re: First AR Build

Since you've already ordered everything, I guess it's too late to steer you towards good deals from good sellers... :bonk: Not necessarily. I ordered the Grace roll pin punches, pivot pin tool and Magpul armorer's tool that RazorBurn linked to. They seem to have a lot of good reviews and look like ...

Re: First AR Build

Well, the tools have been ordered. The AR upper and lower build kits are ordered. The stripped lower receiver is ordered. This is going to be a good time one packages start to arrive.

Re: First AR Build

Very cool. Thank you sir. How about a vice block for the receive? Are they necessary or just make it easier?

First AR Build

I've been wanting to do it for a while, and today seemed like as good a day to get started as any. PSA was running a clearance sale on a complete AR build kit minus the stripped lower receiver. The price was too good to pass up so I ordered one and a blemished receiver. It probably cost me a couple ...
