I have a stainless Marlin 60 with a matching silver Simmons scope. It's been great so far. I replaced the trigger and trigger guard with a silver aluminum one. I bought my wife a pink Ruger 10/22 and she still likes the Marlin 60 better. Women...........

Mosins are still being used in battle in Syria, so I guess they still can be relevant. My M39 is always ready to go. It's my go to bolt gun if I need something more than my AK or VZ.

If you want to stay with Russian stuff, I love the Vepr line. Harder to get not, but some still on GB. I had 2 54r Veprs but never fell in love with them, but I LOVE my .308 Vepr. Looks nice, reasonably accurate, fun and classy looking. Not super expensive to shoot if you shoot cheap Russian .308 or...
