I am a new Mosin-Nagant owner . My gunsmith thinks Hex is best . I have a 1934 M91-39 Hex barrel and a new C&R Why is Hex considered better and what should I watch for. I want to buy more Mosin-Nagants . Please help with info Thanks JGC

Sometimes my SKS firing pin fails to hit the primer hard enough to fire the new Tula ammo other ammo also . Seems like the indentation is different. Sort of to shallow or rounded blunt.Not often.
