Re: My small but growing collection...

I am fairly certain the ammo pouch pictured is Polish, for the M44's thay produced in the early 1950's.

The rifle in question is a Tula. Why would you hesitate! :o

Re: 1942 Springfield M1 Garand

Very nice M1 Garand. As mentioned it is a mixture of parts from diffrent era's anad manufacturers. Don't worry about that however, it is normal. M1's were designed to have complete interchangeability and easy parts replacement. A very nice feature is that you have an uncut -9 Operating Ro...

It would make for a very sturdy lunch box, and easily fit several large bacon sandwiches. I know I need a Finn, but the right one has not come along, not even when I have "buying power" in the wallet. :o Bunkys Dad, I have alot of WWII USGI ammo cans. Its possible I might sell o...

Welcome aboard! That is a nice wartime Izhevsk refurbed rifle. The circle within a circle is an accuracy acceptance mark. Interesting that you have two!

Re: Possible SCW Dragoon

I like the fact that it is a 1926 Tula. But I will have to defer to those with alot more knowledge on both dragoons and SCW rifles as to just what it is now. Appears to me to have a Cossack Ka3 rear sight and 91/30 barrel bands. A wierd front sight and was the stock cut down at the front? Kind of pu...

Thats only $700 toatal for all. Offer him $625 for the lot. They are worth $100 even if they are just common variations. That way he can work for his money carting them all out!

The shiny white metal of the escutcheons make me think any sanding done was state side. Still, it is a vey nice example and will appreciate in value. I would shoot it and cherish it. M91's are thin on the ground around here.
