I am fairly certain the ammo pouch pictured is Polish, for the M44's thay produced in the early 1950's.

I have found no appreciable diffrence between Russian and Bulgarian in my rifles. Buy it.

The shiny white metal of the escutcheons make me think any sanding done was state side. Still, it is a vey nice example and will appreciate in value. I would shoot it and cherish it. M91's are thin on the ground around here.
