Well I did finally get the majority of the cosmoline off this fine rifle, and the sling put on. Sadly the sling markings have been blackened out, is that common these days? So this afternoon after homeschooling, me and some cleaning gear went to work. Other than being a nice 1940 Tula, there really are not any other wierd or unusual markings.
