Re: NEW M91 from Gunbroker
Great, I'm still fairly new to this and thought it would go for more. I got a little paranoid that there was something not right bought it. I'll post some pics when I get it. I see it's marked SA and described at Finn capture, but I noticed it didn't have Finn sling swivels. I'm hoping that's a norm...

I vote for desert tan or OD green hats next order. I think they would be popular.

Re: Obama's Military Surplus Import Ban
Write your congressman. I did. It's a shame I can have a cabinet full of Russian WWII rifles but they won't import the iconic rifle of my own country.

Are they all black or is there a tan option? Black is tough to wear this time of year in FL...

Re: Ruger SP101
I have that model. I thought it was a little snappy for me with .357 so I changed to a Hogue grip; it's a tiny bit bigger and I can get a better grip and the soft rubber doesn't sting with the hot loads.
It's a beautiful gun.

Re: First time shooting a Mosin and first time poster
If I don't have a bruise the day after shooting, I'm just not satisfied! As long as the surplus ammo holds out, I think shooting the MN is the most fun for the money.

I'm about to pick up the 22/45 LITE for my wife so we can shoot together. Mine's a bull barrel stainless target model. I swapped the front site for a HiViz fiber optic and replaced the bushing.

WTB early Russian bayonet
I know it's a long shot and these are hard to find, but I might as well ask. I just got an SKS45 Tula 52 from Gun Broker to replace the one I sold in a fit of stupidity a couple years ago. It's missing the bayonet and cleaning rod, but it's early with the straight/flat "ears" and I see the...

I wish the web address was across the back. The front looks awesome but it's too busy with the address there.

Re: C&R book serial number - which one?
Might be a dumb question, but is it ok to keep it in an Excel spreadsheet instead of a book? I meant to transcribe all of it but haven't yet.

Re: New Mosin Owner
There's always room for one more Mosin. They're like potato chips. You'll be needing a Tula, a laminate, an M44, an MO, a Finn, etc. etc.
