Sorry one of the pictures blurred. It is the bolt at stop point of brass before forcing I am assuming that a slight amount of trimming is needed. I have a carcano trimmer that should do the trick as it is adjusted for dutch brass which is close to this. However the brass will chamber and should fire...

Nice. The conversion dates to 1895 or 1896 however. It was converted to daudeteau cartridge no12 if I remember correctly. It is now a smokeless rifle and not black powder. Not sure of the double dates you have. I have one also. Working on ammo here soon.
