Re: Steyr M95M rifles
Yes Mine shoots very good. Has a real nice bore. I found mine in the sporter stock with the internal clip and extractor for 100 bucks and the stock cost 27 shipped. The bands cost 30 or so though by themselves. The stock was not to bad to do. Had to cut it and inlet the barrel channel and also inlet...

Re: Steyr M95M rifles
I still need a better mauser part handguard but have moved on to other projects and forgotten this for a while. unfortunately I didn't take any fotos of the clip. But it looks like the fotos above. The yugos made quite a few of these and the easy way to tell is the markings along with the mauser rea...

Re: Steyr M95M rifles
I made a stock from long rifle stock and a part of an m95 carbine and an unknown mauser handguard. The barrel bands were the hardest part other then finding a mauser handguard I could use. I still don't have a perfect fit but it isn't to bad. You can make a clip but it is better to make one from the...

Re: I got two
I am sure they were stored for emergencies and used for drilling. Switch to 8mm from 7mm first then to nato. Leftover aid rifles were numerous and a lot were in 8mm which I am sure they were supplied and made ammo. M43 and m44 rifles made from scw leftover recycled receivers. the reason you don't se...

Re: I got two
No. Made in spain converted in spain and reused in spain. Only early 1893 long rifles and early carbines made in Germany. M16 and m1893s made under license at oveido. Some were rebarreled but not sure how many. Some converted to cetme trainers. In the 40s the Spanish went to 8mm rifles m43 and m44. ...

Re: Steyr Gewehr 88
400 seems abit high unless not refurbed into a 88/05. The bolt not matching sounds like it could be a turk issue but they were sent to several other countries. I would try to get them down on that number unless in extremely nice condition
