Re: Gasoline panic hits home
I have a friend who, once upon a time, got a job with bank on America by hacking their security and showing them how easy it was. This was back when AOL was the online power house. lol He said then, and many have since, if you don't want to be hacked, don't plug into the internet. It has always amaz...

Re: Moderna updates
My wife got pretty sick too with the first shot of maderna. The second shot had no effect. A little bit of a sore arm is all. I've had the first Pfizer shot and it was kind of wonky. I wasn't sick just felt hungover, but not. lol Like I partied till 3 AM and got up at 5 for work.

Re: Jeepers Peepers
Hello, Well, that would have been Jim with his Marlin 336 lever action and the Williams brand target sights(I assume). He was missing the insert, like the rifle on the right in your picture. I'd bet you could tighten up your groups if you'd put an insert in. Yet, if you're happy with 3" moa at...

Re: Jeepers Peepers
Yes indeed it was me!! lol Now that I have my inserts, I might get to learn how to use the peep the sites. Provided I ever get the range again!! Getting a reservation is a bit challenging. I may want to bring it in to 50 yards for a bit too. Funny thing is even with the inserts the field of view is ...

Re: Marlin model 336 (1977)
It's a Williams. A much older style than what is pictured here. But I do see what is missing. And it explains a lot as to why I was having a horrible time hitting what I want! I only had one opportunity to take it out after I got it before COVID hit. Until my birthday last Friday (59!!! ) I ...

Re: Marlin model 336 (1977)
Hello. Wow, That's more of a ghost ring in the rear, not a peep sight. That aperture(hole) is big. I can see why you're having issues with your shots. Jim, That rear sight may be missing the screw-in aperture. Is that hole threaded?, if so you need the screw-in apertures. They come in different siz...

Re: Marlin model 336 (1977)
Hello, You have two peep sights? or your front sight is hooded? I don't get the question as printed. Show us a picture my friend..... Peep sights are great, they beat the "V" notch sights hands down. I imagine I have some learnin' to do!! If I can figure out the sites I'll probably be hap...

Marlin model 336 (1977)
Howdy folks I hope all is well!! I'm having issues. lol I'm not liking the sites on my 30 30. Am I doing it wrong? Something missing? I've never used this kind of sites before and I'm having one hell of a time with them!! I'm sure somebody here knows what I'm talking about! Look through a hole, line...

Re: Remember Pearl Harbor
It really is sad that like so many things it is slowly fading away. When we forget the past, we are doomed to repeat it. So true.
