1942 Mosin Nagant M38 for sale

1942 M38, she isn't that pretty but it is all there to hold a place in your collection until you get a keeper as it did for me. It has a 1 ¼ counter bore and looks to have had the crown re-cut but the bore itself is very nice and should be an excellent shooter. The stock is from an M44 and has no cr...

Re: Stuff you find in pockets!

So, is that ours or theirs? There must be a story as to why you kept it, or not.

You are right it would but I gave my Model 94 to my son about a year ago. I got that rifle for Christmas in 1958 and don't hunt I longer but the Kid does. On a promise that it would not leave the family, I passed it to him.

Black powder revolvers on the wall

I as well as others here have shot each one of these. Since times are tough right now getting black powder I decided to put them up where they could be seen and enjoyed. From the top-down, Navy 36cal, 1851 brass frame Navy 36cal, Remington New Army 44cal, and a Colt 1850 Army 44cal. The picture fram...

M38 and 91/59 wall hangers

A lady came in to the shop selling some stuff and I bought these leather rifle hangers from her. What better to hang my 1942 (top) and 43 (middle) M38's and my 1943 91/59 (bottom) with. I will be putting up a 1942 M38 for sale (Not the one shown here) as soon as I get the pictures done. M38 wall han...

Re: 20 years ago today......

My son lived in New Jersey at that time and on a visit, two weeks after that fateful day he took me to New York to visit and pay our respects to the fallen. These pictures bring up some awful memories and remembering when the entire country pulled together for maybe the last time. This was as close ...

Re: M44

I like M44s, in the way back days I liked them so much myself, RONGO and JYD I think raced to see who could collect all 8 of the dates they made them. I may see if I can dig them out for a group show. I did buy my 1944 Tula M44 from RONGO as he had 2.

Re: Debt Free......

So today my refrigerator took a dump today after just 13 years. Off to Home Depot to check out a new one, I have bought cars for less. Any name brand starts at $2000, I settled for an LG for $1500. So much for the gun fund for a while. Debt free is a state of mind.

Re: Mosin found in the attic

What you said about refinishing it is true. What you have there is a Russian M91 captured by the Fins and rebuilt to their specifications, https://russian-mosin-nagant-forum.com/app.php/page/89. A good clean is all that rifle needs. If anybody wants to refinish or rebuild it in any way, beat them to...
