Not necessarily. I have seen post-war, "no names", "Sneaks" do pretty well in the last year. Maybe better than the B barrels. Some pristine late dates have sold for $700-$800 on Gunbroker, but local prices can vary quite a bit.

You should be able to get a matching bolt M39 for less than that. For some reason VKT's seem to fetch less then Sako M39's. They are both nice. I would think you could get something for $400-$500 in the current market.
