Re: Finnish Army close combat practice/training M91 Dragoon
I’ve never seen one of these or heard of them. I’ll have to check your website to learn more but what was the purpose of the rubber bayonet? Training I’d imagine

Re: new rifle
That’sa quick way to turn a 800.00 rifle into a 200.00 rifle and I can’t imagine how you can get all that off it without a massive undertaking. Definitely work on the wood and metal separately and careful with the wood. A new stock is highly unlikely to be found without luck and a bag of cash

Is your M39 a Burn's rifle?
I don’t have my serial number handy but I’ll never forget the pride I had in buying my antique receiver M39. Kari Prager found it in his local honey hole gun shop in California. The shop owner let him take it home at which point he disassembled it and took meticulous photos. He sent me about a hundr...

Re: Found a nice M27 at a local shop that just opened
That was a great find at a very fair price. Shooting these fine old rifles is on a whole different level. Up there perhaps with a nice Swiss K31 or perhaps the fine Mausers made by the Swedes. Thanks for sharing it. Your pictures are excellent

1943 Izhevsk
My first Mosin was a Izhevsk from 1943. Typical rough wartime receiver metal but solid and all matching. Can you believe I bought it for 59.95 back in the day. under 125.00 with a can of Bulgarian heavy ball ammo including shipping. Those were the days. The refurbished rifles are really an amazing t...

Re: Gen 1 Mosin? Pawn shop find from a totally uninformed buyer
Wow it’s amazing that in the past 120 plus years this rifle has survived the chopping block and sand paper. You found a gem that you may never see another like it in the wild, ever! Thanks for posting it here

That looks like a excellent find right there. Beautiful to say the least and from the looks of your 50 yard target might even hang with the Swedish rifles. Congrats

I’d like to know if this fine carbine was ever bought. I can’t imagine letting a 91/59 that nice and that price slip by. No way

Re: Single action rimfires
I finally found the Ruger Wrangler birdshead to add to my rimfire fun. It goes well with the other 2 Wranglers and with the short barrel and curved grip frame it really handles well. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220603/d115930a07908c7367a1d3e96b66a53b.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220...
