Re: M27 1928 #6

Amazing is right. Just knowing that these types of prizes are out there is what makes collecting so exciting. This nice piece has so much character.

Re: CZ82

Good idea Ron. I'd rather get the extra mag too. I'm like LC, I have the PA63 and I love it. For such a small pistol with no adjustable sights, the accuracy is surprising. I really like the Mak round.

Nice pistol. I wonder how these compare to the Polish P64 that J&G Sales is running a sweet deal on?

Re: got the mauser.

When I see the 24/47's for sale online they are almost always in excellent condition, and the price just seems great. I don't know why I haven't tried to get one yet, they seem like the best bang for your buck out there. I have a Yugo K98 that I bought early this year, and I still have not shot it. ...

Re: 1941 91/30

Well I can assure you that NOT everyone has one! I sure would like one too. It seems like it would be reasonable to call and ask if some of the online guys selling right now could pick you one for a hand select fee.(assuming they can find one). Jim, I love the Finn and the M38 you showed there. Ron ...

Re: Range Report on my new Mosin

Well that's a good one Wrangler, I have a 34 also, but a Tula. I think these 91/30's are the ones most responsible for the incurable disease that is going around here lately.

Good post Wrangler. You may find the rest of that arch when you try 100 yds. They tend to still climb at this range. What kind of Mosin are you shooting?

Re: Quiz for the Budding Mosin Collector

The first time I had heard of one of these was a couple of years ago when I found one for auction by a seller of high end military firearms, and best I remember his starting price was about 1500.00. I couldn't tell from your first pics, did bubba leave the front sight intact or did you have to fix t...

Re: Field testing the Pietta 1858 Remington target model

Nice shooting. I think this is my favorite kind of shooting. You hit the can, and therefor the gun shoots perfectly. But sitting at a bench, at 200 yards, your shot is off enough to change your group to a repulsive 3" group, and you can't sleep, eat, or think straight. You gotta love a nice slo...

Re: What did I buy

This is the kind of stuff that makes my heart beat faster! I am amazed every day at just how many variations seem to pop up. I imagine the Russian armorors of old would surely laugh themselves silly if they could see us now. To them they were just a tool for survival. I think you have an excellent f...

The 91/59 you have is a very nice example. I know I'll eventually find one to keep my lonely m44 company. Thanks for posting and very nice picture taking skills!

Re: Back from gunshow

That Nambu would have been a dream come true huh? Nice gun show guys like that are the ones I enjoy talking too, as there are far too many with lousy attitudes. They have no business being there. We don't do well at gun shows in the Dallas area when it comes to milsurps. all the stuff you do see is ...

Hi Steve, man I been looking for you all over. Sent a pm couple of times, even looked for you on Gunboards, and nothing. I thought you fell into witness protection or something. Glad to see that you found the new site. Take your time leaving, and hurry back. All the best, Russell
