I have one of those owned since 1981. I have put thousands of rounds through it and it just keeps going. Excellent pistol.

Re: Latest AR-15 Build
After sighting in my iron-sight carbine at 25 meters, I thought I would try some shooting at 200 yards to check the zero and verify the carbine is shooting center of mass at that range. I used a M16A1 175 Meter Feedback Target to do this. This is a large target, but it was still a challenge for my 7...

Re: Latest AR-15 Build
I decided to build one more AR. This will probably be my last, as I have acquired too many for the gun safe capacity. I started with a Spike's Tactical stripped lower receiver, used Spike's standard lower parts kit with fire control group, Palmetto state buffer tube and standard M4 stock group, Del...

Re: Latest AR-15 Build
This barrel is 16 inches with a standard birdcage flash hider. it's a 1 in 9" twist, so it should shoot the lighter bullets and some of the heavier bullets equally well.

Re: Police Trade-In Glock 22 RTF2
 That's a nice one. The slide serrations are unique. Don't think I have ever seen those on a police gun. I bought a PA State Trooper Glock 21 in .45 ACP a few years ago and it had some nice upgrades such as extended mag release, extended slide release and night sights. Most of these police...

Re: I had my Covid-19, Moderna booster yesterday
I got the Pfizer booster yesterday. My arm wasn't even sore this morning and I have no other after effects. In contrast, I took the the first Shingles shot at the local VA clinic last week and it kicked my ass for two days.

Re: Active Shooter at Tyndall AFB
Update, the base was holding an Active Shooter Drill and failed to notify Local Law Enforcement Agencies. Who upon hearing the radio traffic responded to the scene......So now I can go out there and get my prescription! https://www.mypanhandle.com/news/local-news/active-shooter-at-tyndall-air-force...

Re: WTB: Russian Tokarev TT-33
A predictable response; the Russian Tokarevs are just not out there. In fact, any Russian firearms are rare these days and will soon be unobtainable thanks to idiotic executive action. Back door gun control, courtesy of the White House.

Looks more like dried grease. A good chamber scrubbing should improve it.

Re: No further importation of surplus ammo to the U.S.?
Has any company in the US ever made steel case ammo ? I've got Wolf, Brown Bear, Silver Bear, Tula,Barnhaul, and white box all made in Novobirsk I think. I have some Hornady steel case in 7.62x39, but it was about twice as expensive as Russian ammo at time of purchase. Now with the Biden Russian am...

Re: Handguard Removal Tool?
The Delta ring has a pretty strong spring, so the handguard removal tool just helps you to pull it back without breaking your fingers in the process. Don't know if the military armorers have a similar tool. I have one and it works well.

Re: S&W Model 28 .357 Highway Patrolman
I got some nice Altamont Company's classic panel wood service grips from a seller on EBay. For replacement grips, these were a perfect match with the gun's factory satin finish. If I could just find a genuine 6" cleaning rod for .38/357, I think my box contents would be complete.

I was able to find a factory original box for the S&W Model 28 on EBay. It was not cheap. I put a replacement label on it.
