UPDATE I bought the gun. I cleaned it up real well, got rid of all that cosmoline... It seems the bolt is only super loose when the gun is cocked.. I am able to push the bolt up with a slight push..
I have not been able to see what it's like with a round in it.. Think there's a chance the shop would let me?

When empty, the bolt is quite loose, and I am able to open it with just a slight push. My 91/30 is definitely not like this (I usually have to slap it open). I also have never heard of...
