Re: 303 British SP in 7.62 x54r case

I have been using .311 Sierra Match kings in my .303 loads.
That pulled soft point bullet should be fine in a Mosin. I think you are going to have to at least neck size those cases to get the bullets to seat correctly.

Re: Back into reloading

No, I have had all of this since probably 2010. The press is older than that, because my ex bil gave it to me and he had used it some. So far I have made 20 rounds if .303, and 20 rounds of .22 Hornet. Once I can do a little testing, I will go all in on the Hornet.

To boot it looks like that 1916 receiver is a Sestroryetsk. Pretty cool.

I have the same pistol. Love it. All season pocket carry.

Re: Counterbored

No 91/30 will be as good as an M39, I think it is safe to say. We frown on advising altering these rifles in any way. Look at it this way. What you have is a weapon used in arguably the greatest conflict in history. If you had a sword used in the Crusades, would you sharpen it? It is yours to do wit...

These are Mausers. But the process would be essentially the same.

It has been refurbished and force matched. Also Mosin serial numbers don't run in any real order. Not 1 through Millions.

Re: New Members, Make your first post here!

Hello, I am new to this site. I have posted a M-38 for your consideration. I have been collecting for over 25years Mosty on GB but that site is getting strange. So I thought I would try here. For the monitors of the board. Can I add to my post?? I want to add more pics of my 1939 dated M-38. If tha...
