Thank you. I was going to bid on this one, but for some reason I didn't. Someone got a good deal.

Re: NON import marked nagants
Yes, I just picked up 500 rounds of Prvi for a little less than $220 at a gun show. If I had more money I would have picked up more at that price!bunkysdad wrote:Very nice. Are you finding ammo for it? I have been seeing it locally lately made by Prvi Partisan.

NON import marked nagants
The first nagant revolver was made in 1926 and is matching aside from the cylinder and the second nagant revolver was made in 1935 and is all matching.

I wish I could have made the pics bigger, but there wasn't enough space for them.

Re: Has the supply of M38's dried up?
Your really not going to find any in stock from an online retailer, but armslist has some, along with gunbroker, and are going for $225 to $300 for a refurb. There are about 25 of them online right now.

.268 prvi partizan 6.5 casings?
I thought prvi partizan only made 6.5x52 ammo in .264 diameter, but this website has prvi partizan casings for sale in .268.

Re: 6.5 carcano prvi partisan casings and Hornady bullets?
To answer your question, I'm not really sure on the case thing. I would think the PPU cases would work though. I'd be more concerned about slugging my bore first if I was you. I wouldn't just assume it, because somebody else found their 91/28ts to slug out at .268. It doesn't take long to slug a bo...

Re: 6.5 carcano prvi partisan casings and Hornady bullets?
The Hornady reloading manual has load data for the Carcano with their .268 bullets. They have some specific steps when loading the .268 bullet. I don't have it in front of me at the moment though. You slugged your bore and it was .268? Not all of them are. My situation with my Carcano M91 was stran...

They have a case expander, so I think I could use that for the prvi casings.bunkysdad wrote:Only if it was listed in a loading manual would I trust going up in size by 4 thousandths. If it is safe it should be listed.

6.5 carcano prvi partisan casings and Hornady bullets?
I recently bought a carcano carbine, and have not been able to find any ammo aside from 139gr prvi partisan ammo. I know it is a .264 diameter round, but I was wondering if I could still somehow reload using the prvi casings with .268 Hornady bullets.

It wasn't a finnish capture, by SA he meant single action.Longcolt44 wrote:EDIT: I really hope you won that. It went for $360.00, it was worth $500.00 IMHO. SA stamped.Longcolt44 wrote:I ran into it earlier today. There is 1 minute to go so go for broke.

Re: Single action 1900 dated nagant revolver value?
I was really struggling to decide whether or not I wanted to bid on it, but in the end, I did not. Even though it was rare, I have been looking at a few other imperial nagant revolvers in WAY better condition, including a russian tt-33.
