Use Privi Partizan 150 grain soft point. It's about 13 bucks a box and hits almost exactly where your surplus ammo hits. Set your rear sights at 200 and sight it in at 25 yards. It will be close at 200. You also get the brass casing to reload.

Those numbers are force matched. They were penciled in and not stamped from factory.
That is a clean looking rifle though. That stock is beautiful.

Wow. That ammo costs more than my Current hunting ammo for my 30.06 at lucky gunner.

Here is the pic of the /2\. You can see it directly on top of the No above the serial number.

I just noticed that the /25\ on mine looks more like /2\. It's stamped over the no above the serial number so it's hard to read. It also has a 2 on the stock under the rear sight. Does anyone know what that means? I will take pictures tomorrow and upload them if it helps.

I have a Red letter like that but it has MO and the dates 39/52. I like the red paint in the numbers like that. It just looks cool.

I only shoot at steel with my .22 lr. They completely flatten like a pancake and splatter into the ground below the target.
