hey I saw some guys on here that had canvas and leather socks for mosin they were old military looked similar to the slings liberty tree seems to be out of them any idea where to locate

hello I have heard a few different versions of this but curious during war time in the field did the mosin natant have a shellack finish ? saw a mosin at gun show today and the guy said that they did not have shellack on them in the field he had one that was dry and clean with a flat stained finish ...

interesting and cool video thats interesting that the shellack was just used for storage that sheds some light on the situation thanks I plan to let it be i was really happy with how the barrel looked after cleaning it up and was surprised at the nice rifling still in there seemingly deep groves etc...
