yeah i saw it too not to mention being a bubba. was totally arrogant "dont make low ball offers, i can easlly sell the stock on ebay for a 100bucks"thought ,good sell the aftermarket stock and beat yourself senseless with the action.........Maybe a bit Harsh.....

looks like the stock repair was done by a pretty low tech country but no wire slings and its not a total mixmaster like some balkans the finish deon't look spainish and id think the finns would have stuck it in a replacement stock any import marks at all? maybe its an old pre 68 import does look lik...

the stock repair sounds Balkan, likely albanian as does the front sight blade

i found long ago that actallualy planning a collection is wasted effort.What ever, the fates decide you shall have. Will come to you ...........

Nice time capsule one of the "serial #s S115325 is a Civil guard number which is maybe why it wasn't restocked the finns did however add ,finn sling hangers any "S" numbers stamped on the stock?

the three screw holes are result of bubbas need for sling swivels i have one rather simllar only my bubba, stuck his just behind the bottom band twice.... the screws must have pulled out Silly Bubba

nice save from bubba look carefully on the stock theres likely a bulgarian pinecone stamp on it somewhere i have a scrubbed crest 1917 that looks just like it well mostly my stocks more beat and not so shiny but could be just the pictures

how about since july 1943 izvesk in lammated stock 1917 PTG ,1941 VKT M39, 1932 91/30 ,a finn28 ,1940 tikkaM91,1916 PTG, Bubbaed now restored 1939 tikka M27, N.E.W. M91,1942 B barrel M91,1925 izvesk Ex dragoon, 1943tikkaM91 and a 1944 tikka round receivered 91/30 and You think, you've got a bad case...

That stock has the been there done that look........... like maybe ran over by a T26 tank good thing the finns didn't stick it in a replacement two piece stock

CVAs were made by ASM Armi San Marco they also made the same gun for a couple other vendors for different price points
