Mosin Nagant stripper clips
Can anyone recommend a good stripper clip manufacturer / re-seller?
Or perhaps it doesn't matter and a generic one that fits will work fine for my Mosin / Nagant.
Seems like only ones I can find are online, pickings are non-existent at my local gun shops.

Re: Gun dealer identified my new Mosin/Nagant incorrectly?!
41 or light struck 44? Hmmmmmm It does look like a 1941 stamp. I had to really shine some light on it with a magnifying glass. What made me think it was a 1947 was the remarkable shape this rifle is in- Looks almost perfect - 2 minor scratches in the varnish on the stock other than that I cant find...

That sounds correct -both are ones not 7'sBuckeyeSgt wrote:Kind of looks like 1941. Izhevsk 91/30
Is that first 1 the same as the last digit?
Do the other markings line up with this theory?

Gun dealer identified my new Mosin/Nagant incorrectly?!
I think my local gun dealer made a mistake when identifying my new rifle.
Can anyone help me to correctly identify it?
He told me it was a '48 Russian Mosin/Nagant 91/30 - It sure does look like a '47.
Also can anyone figure out the original place of manufacture by the markings?
Thanks!

Re: New Members, Make your first post here!
Hi Everyone, Got a 1948 Russian 91/30 Mosin / Nagant with all the fixings = Cleaning kit / Bayonet / Sling / Cleaning rod Read on a different forum board NOT to use the cleaning rod that comes with it. That kinda struck me as odd since it was issued with the rifle. Newbie question for sure... Just w...
