Re: Mosin Nagant Giveaway

Hey guys. One day left.
It's totally free, I don't use your data for anything but contacting you if you win. You have just as good of odds if you've never purchased from me as someone who has.

Mosin Nagant Giveaway

If it's against the rules, remove and let me know as I won't post it again. I'm giving away a nice Laminate ex PU sniper and some other goodies. Also fellow forum member Brian Rau is giving out some accuracy kits. Will be going on for 2 weeks. Direct link https://gleam.io/wov6W/themosincratecom-mosi...

Re: SA stamp location

The community takes care of it's own. This guy shows up, suddenly changes his goofy company name to something extremely similar to mine(and a guy whose willing to fake markings to get money would no doubt sue for money so I won't name him). Lets say "The Mosin Crater" is the name he used. ...

Re: Whats with all the laminate stocks?

I'm not seeing anyone with laminate stocked 91/30s right now. I checked gunbroker and found one at the time of listing mine.

The ones I had were imported 2-4 years ago and I got them from a private source. I do not believe any more have been imported for some time.

Mosin Nagant Giveaway - www.themosincrate.com

Time for another giveaway. First off, thank you guys for being awesome customers. This is about you guys, which is why like the last giveaway I have absolutely nothing for sale on my website. Not everyone likes facebook, so there are several entry options for those that would prefer to avoid that. T...

Beautiful, got to the photo of the bolt and gave a frown.. Always just that one thing keeping a rifle from being perfect. Of course it would not have been the original bolt but still stamped numbers look good.

Nice find!

Re: Izhevsk ex-sniper find. Your thoughts?

I passed on three Tula 1943 Ex PU snipers recently, all matching and in excellent refurb shape for $175 a piece. Why? Because they're really worth about $200 in this current market. PU ex snipers really have not moved much in value even while normal 91/30s have gone up 25% in recent months. Average ...

Awesome! Glad they got there in good shape. Did you find a pinecone stamp on the underside of the receiver by chance? Or in the stock?

Re: Stale popcorn . . . Part III Starts this Monday

I notice that Burns' website no longer says, "No more for a while." It's just empty. I'm sure that a condition of the sales agreement with Classic was that she take a time out from selling rifles. From the money she made from the sale I hope she's taking a nice long vacation somewhere war...

Re: Arisaka type 99

To answer your question, yours was likely a early July 1942 produced rifle. Chrome lined bores really did not disappear until around the end of 44. Congratulations! Unlike German and American firearms. Japanese, Russian and British to an extent can still be had cheap and Japanese are by far the chea...

Re: classic customer photos

I have seen several items on their site I know were not purchased there having known the owners of said item.. The problem Classic will have(and its the main reason I do not do this unless I'm 100% sure of the rifle owner) is that they have no idea who the pictures are coming from. They did the righ...

Re: What the hell's going on here?

Aliens? Well, that explains were my keys, spare glasses, tools, wallet, nuts and bolts, TV remote, cat, flashlight, spare magazines, tins of Altoids mints, hats, gloves, socks, air pressure gauge, torch sparker, and the padlock from the shed all went off to. I had been blaming the ghosts, looks lik...

Re: What the hell's going on here?

You are right. You can literally blame everything on space aliens. I lost a can of ammo for awhile and was convinced that a 2 headed space alien took it. But then I found under a old towel on my reloading bench. Ok, so izzy9130, try not to get too uptight around here and relax, have fun. That is ho...

I had a similar problem on another forum. Believe it or not, deleting my temp internet files fixed the problem. You may try that. Or it could be aliens.. :chuckles:

Re: Take a look at the advertisers banner

Even worse.. I'm on a luger kick lately. The "itus" gets progressively more expensive over time haha. Didn't you also send Hickock45 a Finn M-91? I recently saw that video and he loved it. Very cool. Not to bump this thread.(It annoys me too when that happens.) But yes indeed. He's got an...

:wave.gif: Hello to all! Thanks for the welcome. Been here a little while but never posted too much. That should change now.(Relax though, I don't :spam2: my advertisements. I'm a fellow collector myself and hopelessly addicted to Mosins and Milsurps in general.) BTW Hickok45 should be posting up an...

One of the rifles I saw had 24 plugs. I was amazed and almost purchased it just for the oddity of the stock.

This one displays really well. Glad you like it!
