If I'm not mistaken you have to change the upper receiver, AND the bolt. Sorry if someone already said this, but I didn't see it.

Thanks for the info. I'll get pics when I get a chance. I believe just the buttplate was replaced, the other parts all have the same font, and markings. Like I said I'll get pics so those who know can tell me for sure.

Hi All, Long time gun nut, first time Mosin Nagant owner. Found an M91/30 locally for a fair price and they have been on my radar for a long time so I bought it. Now I'm here to learn about it.
