Re: Pawn Shop Finn

Thanks for the replies. I don't think this one has seen Bubba. I feel like this is the stock as it originally looked. I know Bubba, and I can't find evidence of him here. It's just worn to show it's age I think. By the way, I do believe this little dumpling is on the market if anybody's interested. ...

Pawn Shop Finn

Well glory be! The blind hog found an acorn. And yes, I'm still alive. Looks like they're still out there. I don't know much, but I do believe this is an M24 Civil Guard rifle. Yes, it's missing a few parts and those can probably be replaced at a price. These used to be worth more than a regular old...

Iron Newt = CLASS ACT

This might not be the place for this, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it. If it really offends, administrator please move it or whatever. Iron Newt is a 100% class act. In the middle of an already delayed transaction on some old stocks, my Dad suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized. I w...

Mosins in Motor Trend 1956

I have loads of odd, eclectic crap. I was flipping through a September 1956 Motor Trend magazine when low and behold! An advertisement for Confiscated Russian Rifles Model "MN" . I wonder if I sent the money would my rifle get here? Maybe by Marty McFly. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: I need some advice. What to keep!

That was once thought the case, Des. The Choculas only remained in Pennsylvania for 10 months in 1947. They pulled up stakes (no pun intended) after a land dispute that caused quite a local stir, but was covered up by the surrounding media. They finally put down roots in Bloomington Indiana and that...

When were Finnish rifles imported?

Are they still importing them? It seems like all the ones out there were sent over here in the early 2000's or something. I've seen pictures of Finn rifles with import marks and without. How did they get here? Obviously the supply has dried up. Otherwise wouldn't you see them on some of the importer...

What a honey bun! Way to go! Nice score for a buck fifty. Why can't I ever find Finnish rifles? I don't think they like the South.

Re: I need some advice. What to keep!

That is actually an Arby's Big Montana sandwich with Horsey Sauce he is obviously repulsed by. This was a candid photo taken while on holiday at Lake Tahoe. He is affectionately referred to as the "Holy Shit!" vampire due to the expression on his face. His proper name is Randall Van Shat. ...

PW Arms

You know, I've always wondered why PW doesn't throw up a storefront or web site like Century. It would provide some much needed competition. Maybe they have contracts with some of the chains that keeps them flush?

Dunno.

Heck, just sell me one of them. I don't care which one! Or keep them all! Fight Authority! Roll your sleeves up! Mow some lawns! Take it like a man! This advice is easily given because it doesn't pertain to me. I feel for you. Seriously, sell me one. At a massive discount. And free shipping. With am...

Drunken Gunbroker bid with a happy ending

Not that type of happy ending. Perverts. After 10,000 beers one evening, I started playing on Gunbroker. Opening bid stuff. You all know what I mean. "If it closes for that amount, I'll take it." I bid on what I thought was a '43 ex-sniper after peering at it with one eye open. 6 days left...

That part was produced during lunch, hence the "L". The workers got paid double but only if they could show their work.

A post about clock parts and Plymouth Dusters on a Mosin board. Awesome.

This is much too inane for me not to participate.
