So what type of mosin is this with all of these markings? I know it is a Tula but not much else. There is a small number 25 right above the year as well.

So I think I have a Finnish capture 91/30 here but since I am new I hope you all can shed some light on this. Tang has 96 on it but receiver has 1942? Does that refer to the receiver being made in 1896 but stamped in 1942 on the top? By the way there is not an import stamp anywhere on this rifle and...

Just joined and have Mosinitus... have 20 + 91/30's and my first m44 as of yesterday. Look forward to getting some pics out and learning more from the experienced members here.
