Mosin Snipers
Hi All,
I'm interested in learning more about the Mosin sniper rifles. Can someone help with explaining the jargon? (PU, ex-sniper, etc...)![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: 5 M91/30's
I purchased mine at the local Big 5 Sporting Goods, and it was imported by PW Arms. I haven't been able to test fire it yet, but I think it will be fine. We have a local gun show coming up in a month and I'll be checking it as well. Living in Ft. Collins, CO I'm right in between the Cabela's in Sidn...

Re: 5 M91/30's

But since I just bought 1 last month, I figured the wife would use one of them to beat me to death if I brought 3 more home. I've got mosinitis really bad at this point and need to move carefully. I don't want to end...

5 M91/30's
I happend to be in the local outdoor store last night picking up supplies for this weekend elk hunting, and when I walked past their wall of rifles, I spotted 5 M91/30's in the rack. All of them were "Izzys" and were imported by Century Arms. They had a '39, '40, '43 and (2) '44's. They we...

Re: '53 CZ 52
Hi All, I just joined the Mosin-Nagant forum, so I might as well join this one too! I bought a '54 CZ-52 from a friend of mine 2 years ago for $155 with a holster and 2 mags, no cleaning rod. Back then I got 400 rounds from a local shop for about $50 (all surplus). I can buy new stuff locally...

Re: mikerb55 Rifle
Dog,
I went to Big 5 Sporting Goods where I purchased the gun and bought an Otis Technology Breech to Muzzle cleaning kit. It worked great. The muzzle is now clean but looks a little pitted. Is this OK? Cleaning of the stock comes next!

Re: mikerb55 Rifle
Dog,
Thanks for the tip on getting the grease out of the stock. There's not a lot, but I can feel it on my hands after holding the rifle. I can't wait to get it cleaned up so I can shoot it.
