Nice rifle. I have a 36 in a laminate stock.The workmanship is much nicer than my later ones. Good score. Did you have to do any sight adjustment? I haven't managed to get mine to the range yet.

I have one that is pretty flaky too. Everytime I take the barrel bands off, the shellac comes off with them. I'm leaving it alone for now. I was wrong about the Tula being a 39. It's a 1936. The tang has a Tula star and I can just barely make out 36 under the star.
