S&W k22 question
I have my grandfathers k22 he received upon retirement. Butt of the pistol is stamped k 631XX. I x'd out the last two numbers but can anybody ballpark the year of production.

I don't know I bought it as a barreled receiver not cut or drilled but has no furniture? I would like the lighter colored wood but is that period accurate ? Also the sn starts 61c any idea on the year of manufacture?

Picked this one up from a guy, some surface rust, no bolt, no magazine, no sights and was missing most of the screws. Had a sanded buttstock with a swastika carved into it. Anyway, I got all the parts and new buttstock (which pleasantly matched) and put her back together. Seems to function perfectly...

I'm putting the rifle back to original configuration and have a couple of rear sight questions. Of course I need the sight but the plunger and spring as well? What keeps the tension when flipping the sight up? Thanks
