Re: New Mosin Inventory axisarmsonline.com

Nice Iraqi K98 on there. FYI these probably came by way of the East Germans whom got them from the Russians. EG is likely who re-numbered and reworked the gun before the Iraqi's got it. I have one of these in my collection, and it has a Post war stock on it, and its a bolt MM. The EG's put a proof o...

Re: 1919 Tula

We have sold one of those from the Kevin Carney collection but it didn't bring that much money. But then Yuri doesn't come to WV shows I guess. Plus he works so many hours he probably wouldn't make the trip either. I have had 3 or 4 over the years in my collection with nicer ones coming and lesser ...

It could be Finn, not all were SA marked. Could be Russian, hell it could be any country that made dog collars to be honest. No way to tell.

Re: Strippers From Finland???

You have to wonder how the Chinese can fuck up a Mosin stripper clip. They made the type 53, it's a good rifle, just as good as the M44, they must have made millions of stripper clips for the ammo these rifles ate. The Chinese strippers on Chinese ammo are ok, it's the new made repops that are junk.

Re: What the heck is a matter with me?

Bill I can do you a favor. I will take any Mauser Carbines off your hands as well as those post war M/39's. You don't want them infecting the rest of your fine collection. I'll even drive down there and pick them up and haul them away. You won't have to do any work. Glad to hear you were feeling go...

Not Elm, elm is more of a open grain. You see it alot on M48 mausers, and Yugo SKS's. Once in a while on a Swede Mauser.

Re: Gun show

Good luck with that in the age of ever higher Finn Mosin prices. Screw the gun shows, around here everything is jacked higher than gunbroker. If I am going to drag my tired ass around all day I would rather hit a museum were I can look at the cool guns without getting sticker shock, and then head o...

The M28s were mixed in with a 28/30 Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk That makes sense. I didn't see any pure M/28 lots. I got info from someone on the ground there and I feel comfortable with the purchase. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk Didn't mean to get you all reved up, just figured If y...
