Re: $100 N.E.W. M91
I was aware of the m28 rear sight, and m28 trigger i believe. I looked up civil guard units and it would work, odd without the prefix though. I previously mentioned no [SA] mark, though that is somewhat common from what ive read, basically just slipped past or forgotten about. The handguard looks fi...

Re: $100 N.E.W. M91
I understand that. I had a plain jane 43 Izhevsk for about a week and i gave it to my brother. Im waiting for that particular Russian rifle to speak to me. I feel im on a good roll, if a spectacular Russian example would have presented itself im sure i wouldve gotten it, but im still waiting. Althou...

Re: $100 N.E.W. M91
Im saying a rifle with no other visible lineage that just Russian. This M91 also has Finn marked meters on rear sight, appears to be a Finn'd trigger/group and i would go out on a limb and say the number on top of the hex receiver is somehow Finn as well. Although no SA stamp. I also found copper sh...

Re: $100 N.E.W. M91
I seem to luck out, and yet to have a purely Russian rifle. I now have 4 Mosin's Rifles: 1st being a 1904 Izhevsk M91/38 2nd Finnd 1941 Izhevsk M91/30 blued bolt, stacked front sight, prewar stock [SA] and D stamped sling hangers 3rd 1943 Izhevsk DDR M91/30, got it for $100 (got it because the seria...

Re: $100 N.E.W. M91
The thing that struck me as odd is it is not [SA] stamped. Also any ideas on the serial number on top of the receiver?

Re: NICS delay..
Here in PA we have PICS (Pennsylvania instant check system) and it can go one of four ways: 1.Fully Automated Approved BG Check 2.Go to an operator to confirm more information on state police and 4473, then approved 3.Go to an operator and go to into "research" A. State/FBI has up to 15 da...

Re: A build in the works...
The company I work for is a manufacturer. We have our own billet lowers, upper receivers and flash hiders. Building rifles has become one of my favorite things to do. A good set of tools can make a hassle into a breeze. Me and my coworker had a rifle together in a bout 20minutes with some bullshitti...

N.E.W. M91
Working a deal on a New England Westinghouse M91, of course dated 1915 and not all matching. The stock appears to be dark like walnut no shellac, not in the best condition and didnt inspect thoroughly enough to find any US stamps or the NEW round cartouche. I do not see any refurb marks, it definite...

My shop built a 9mm AR 7inch SBR that is full auto. Only runs with original Colt SMG mags, go for 60-100 dollars a pop, consider yourself lucky![smile :)](./images/smilies/smile.gif)

$10.00 Why can't I find deals like this.... At least when SWMBO is around. I get lucky from time to time. The nice thing about working at gun shop/indoor range I see a lot of stuff come through the door that isnt suitable for resell. If it is something i have interest in and have the cash on me to ...

Samco M1916 Spanish Mauser
I've been trying to find a reasonably priced FR8 to no avail. I was just checking out SAMCO and they have the .308 converted Spanish M1916 mauser carbines in stock. Im a huge carbine guy and for $169 I couldnt ask for more. I just wanted to get a few opinions of the rifle from the very knowledgeable...

Re: Retiring the Makarov for another day
I was lucky enough to grab one of the two we got in this past week before it hit the shelf, first shipment of XDS we have seen since the recall. XD's in general are great sellers at my shop, i personally cannot stand the feel of a glock. In the end it was between this and a Officers size 1911, i hav...
