It's through CAI. Not counter bored. I was just wondering why the muzzle wasnt blued like the rest. Not a big deal, just made me curious is all.

honestly I cant tell if it's counter bored. How deep does that go?

Never mind, not counter bored, a bullet wont drop all the way in.

Thats why I wondered if they blued then counter bored and crowned it. Got it at Big 5 still covered in cosmo so someone else didnt do it.

This is mine, looks like a fresh crowning.

I have lemon oil, maybe I'll give it a good wipe down.

Next question.. The muzzle obviously was re-crowned. Shiny, un-blued. Normal? I would have theought they would have blued it after the counter bore/crown.

It wiped off for the most part, but it still was coming out of the wood. WIth the 100*+ temps here I really didnt want it oozing when it was in a 200* trunk. A question, are stock for round and hex receivers the same? I missed out when AIM had the stocks 3/$49

1929. I just used heat to get the como out of the stock.. 1st side went fine, hair to warm on the other side I guess.. :-(

Sadly, I bubbled some of the finish while getting the cosmoline off. Didnt know shellac would do that. Although from what I found out, it will wear off there anyway.
