1903 Bolt

Are the bolts on the 1903 and 1903A3 interchangeable? Im looking for a 1903 bolt and came across this http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ad/525500.htm

They have it listed for a 1903, 1903A1, and 1903A3. Any help would be appreciated.

Winchester Primers for30-06

Anyone use the Winchester Large Rile (WLR) primers? Cant find the CCI primers anywhere but was able to grab 1,000 Winchester primers. I plan on using them on my 30-06 reloads and plane on hand priming them. Thanks

Re: Dumb question about M1 ammo

OK, the M1 Garand is designed to shoot one kind of .30-06, that would be .30 M2 Ball ( 147 grain jacketed lead core bullet) The M1 was not designed with a gas system that could be regulated, so some other commercial .30-06 that might be at higher pressure could damage your rifle. Dumb question about M1 ammo

Just picked up a Springfield M1 Garand and had a general question about ammo. The rifle is a 30.06 and was wondering what the difference is from ammo marked .30 cal. My gut tells me its the same thing but I would like a definitive answer before I order ammo.

(How about a pic of the safety cocking knob, I want to compare yours to a different series 10 rifle) Thanks for the safety knob pic, the weld is what I needed to see. Anything significant about the weld?
