Looks like you won't be visiting, and they are parts only, saw no weapons on their web site. From their web site....... "For Over 25 years OMEGA WEAPONS SYSTEMS has been serving the need of the serious collector and firearms enthusiast. We carry parts from all over the world for most antique an...

Re: Heads up...AIM has ammo
SG Ammo seems to be the fastest so far, ordered on 1-2 and will be delivered on 1-9. (my birthday, yeah) Ordered from AIM the same day and the web site says it's still "processing". And like I said before, Ammo To Go will ship at the end of the month.... Just checked Cope's web site...

Ammo To Go is shipping pretty slow, I ordered on 12-27 and they sent me an
email recently that says it won't ship until 1-24 to 1-30.

Re: prvi partizan 7.62 Nagant opinions
I haven't tried the P-P, but I have shot a couple of boxes of the Serbian Hotshot and the Russian surplus, the surplus wins. The P-P, Fiocchi, and Hotshot are all 98 grain, the surplus is 108 grain, so you do get more bang/fun out of the surplus. I alternated Hotshot and surplus in every other round...

Re: Reasonable price of a M38?
All this price talk makes me feel good about my 1943 M38, with a nice no-groove M38
stock. However it is counterbored, but I only paid $79.99 on sale at Big-5 about

Re: Canned Ammo
Bought a 300 round tin of the 147g stripper clip ammo from Ammo To Go on 12-27-12. According to an email I got today, it won't even ship until Jan 24th to 30th. But the total price was only $80.41, just hope I eventually get it. Ordered some more of the 46 grain training ammo from SG Ammo and they s...

Re: I need suggestions for Scope/Scope mount
Good luck finding a Darrell's scout mount for a M38/M44, I have been looking for months and have found
absolutely zero, at any price.....
You need a long eye relief scope.

Re: Ammo prices question
Just bought 147 grain on strippers, in a tin, 300 rounds, from Ammo To Go.
Both include shipping.
Ammo To Go = $80
AIM = $97
Both say wait is 2 - 3 weeks, luckily I'm not in a hurry....

They put the stamp on the other side of mine and I think I like it there better than on the barrel.

Re: New 1895 Nagant
For me, the surplus ammo is much more fun to shoot than the commercial, it feels like
you are shooting the "real deal". And I think it's cheaper.
Although neither type seems to inhibit my ability to miss the target.....

Re: Dovetail?
That's true, you don't know if it's soldered until you remove the pins and give it a few medium taps with a hammer and a brass drift. At that point it will come off or you put bolts through the pin holes for the mount. Glad the Brass Stacker is solid, the photos didn't look solid to me, and since I ...

Re: Dovetail?
My opinion is a little different from some of the posters on this thread. I put a scope on my 91/30 so I could see the target. It was not a problem as the rear sight wasn't soldered, just drive out the pins, slide off the sight and use the dovetail underneath. No damage to rifle, can replace sight a...

Re: Nagant Revolver M1895 with Russian Surplus Ammo
Went to range with my Nagant 1895 pistol on Sat. and took 50 rounds of Hotshot (Serbian) commercial ammo and 50 of Russian surplus. What a difference, I alternated every other round in the cylinder for a comparison....Ha! It was pop, BANG, pop, BANG. The surplus sounded and felt like I was shooting ...

Re: Nagant revolvers
Mine seems to be older than most that I've seen. Stamped 1914, but most of the arsenal stamp has been scrubbed off. Damn Commies.... 8-) Found it on a "bargain table" at a local gun show, for $75. Wasn't even looking for one but figured, why not. Didn't realize it was a 7-shot until I got ...

Re: M38 rear sight
Do all M38s have the sleeve that goes all the way around the barrel, and one pin?
Is that sleeve soldered to the barrel?
Just wondered, my M38 has that.
