I read the Chinese SKS is not as good a quality as the Yugo but the barrel is chrome lined so it resist's oxidizing better ......... less pitting I guess

Its a sniper X-sniper stock ! until I see proof its not, so it could be and if it could be it is............... it makes perfect sense if you don't think about it.

On a side note: Cabelas has 91/30 snipers ........ not sure how "authentic" they are but at 599.00 they had better be.

I am gona say its an X-sniper because that's a far more interesting story than a fixed stock.

its a Ruger mark II. Its an older .22 but in good shape and great shooter (fast) I see them for 200-400 depending on model and condition. I felt like it was uneven trade for the Enfield. Almost purchased an Enfield today .......... I don't know why I thought I needed it ..........sigh need to calm down on this WWII rifle thing LOL

Passed it up. He wanted to trade not sell and my pistol is worth more than his Enfield. He wanted 175 firm. I have a mauser sportster and I don't need another project. i would rather just save and get an Enfield original.
