Re: SKS ? Yugo ?
Checked them out no SKS :(
Its gona be a sad soviet X-mas for me LOL
Gun show coming up in Dec. Maybe one will pop up. I think its just a bad time to be wanting any assault rifles .............. sellers market for them.
I will wait until the panic calms down and look around after the holidays.

Re: SKS ? Yugo ?
I read the Chinese SKS is not as good a quality as the Yugo but the barrel is chrome lined so it resist's oxidizing better ......... less pitting I guess
Sounds like you think the Chinese ones are a good purchase.

Re: 1942 w/X-sniper stock ? ? ? ? ? ?
Sad part is they know it , but refuse to negotiate on price.........they would rather sell it to the next sucker than give you a fair deal. Not the employees fault just lame sales policies. The following quote comes to mind. "Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it." - Publi...

Re: 1942 w/X-sniper stock ? ? ? ? ? ?
Its a sniper X-sniper stock ! until I see proof its not, so it could be and if it could be it is............... it makes perfect sense if you don't think about it.
On a side note: Cabelas has 91/30 snipers ........ not sure how "authentic" they are but at 599.00 they had better be.

Re: salvageable 1942 Lithgow Enfield ? ? ?
its a Ruger mark II. Its an older .22 but in good shape and great shooter (fast) I see them for 200-400 depending on model and condition. I felt like it was uneven trade for the Enfield. I might have gone for 100.oo but he said he was firm on the price. I would love to trade a Enfield straight acros...

Re: salvageable 1942 Lithgow Enfield ? ? ?
Passed it up. He wanted to trade not sell and my pistol is worth more than his Enfield. He wanted 175 firm. I have a mauser sportster and I don't need another project. i would rather just save and get an Enfield original.
Thanks for the advice ........... couldn't make up my mind

Re: salvageable 1942 Lithgow Enfield ? ? ?
POF? I will check for that. I think I might pass on the enfield just because like you said ammo is hard to find. I would rather wait and get a Enfield non-sport If its just gona hang on my wall for a WWII collection :) unless he takes me up on the .22 pistol trade then maybe. Thanks for the advice.
