Re: PU from RGuns
Case looks familiar too. Still need to get some decent pics. Tried last week but failed as I need to work on the lighting. Range report got put on hold until probably 11/9. :(

Re: PU from RGuns
You will definitely get a range report soon because I am pretty anxious to do one. The weather is supposed to be lousy on Saturday so the outdoor range won't be an option but I will take it to the indoor range I am a member of. At least then I can put rounds through it, even if they are only at 25m....

PU from RGuns
A few months ago when I caught Mosinitis, I placed a Sniper at the top of my list of firearms to buy. After months of research, most of it from this forum and after careful consideration based on many things including my fascination with history, I decided on buying one from RGuns. It arrived today ...

Me three. Lemon oil is the hot ticket. Perfect for not altering the stock but also perfect for cleaning it and making sure it does not dry out.

Re: Another CZ 52
Love the CZ52. I do not have one but do have the replacement, CZ82. That one is like an extension of my hand with a natural aim whenever I pick it up. The Czechs know how to build them, that is for sure.

Re: 7.62X54r non steel ammo
Yeah age of ammo isn't neccesarily a factor in how it'll perfrom. Most of my surplus is 30 to 60+ years old. Most including this ammo is sealed in tins though the newer 54R is in a better version of sealed tin. I have 12 crates of various kinds of this this ammo (40s-50s strippered, non strippered,...

Re: 7.62X54r non steel ammo
Happily I know of one outdoor range that does not care about steel core and an private indoor range I am a member of that does not like steel core but doesn't mind non-brass cases. This morning I was exploring gun-deals (awesome btw) and noticed some Russian lead core surplus from the 40s-50s that s...
