Re: PSA Lower Opinions

The bottom line is that MilSpec is MilSpec. All my experiences (several) with Palmetto have been favorable. IMO, PSA is GTG.

Re: Permitless gun carry in Oklahoma takes effect

A bit off topic, but related. Related to what SA1911a1 espouses regarding keeping a low profile, which I wholeheartedly agree with. It has been my experience that the majority (not all, for certain) of the guys you see with their AR/AK 's completely tricked out never served in the military. An inter...

Group buy years ago?

Do any of you old timers remember a group buy that Tuco did over at Gunboards that was set up through Phoenix Arms about 20 years ago? It took place around March of 2000. They were, according to my source, Soviet post-war refurbed PU rifles that Century Arms imported out of Russia or the Ukraine bac...

Just because

Because while you Can, and Do, spend far more money on better engineered and more expensive firearms, your Finnish Civil Guard Mosin-Nagant has stolen your heart and is now your go to gun in the event the balloon going up. Solid, accurate and you can buttstroke the crap out of a squad of douchebags ...

Finnish Civil Guard M39's

Most of us familiar with Finnish Mosin-Nagant and Civil Guard (SK.Y) weapons in particular, know that SAKO Civil Guard production ran from 1942 to 1944. A documented 10,500 were contracted to be delivered to the Civil Guard from SAKO within those years. On Tuco's old, but exceedingly informative web...

Just as a heads up for you guys, the Finnish P-26 in the photographs in this thread was just put up for sale on Gun Broker. My name there is the same as the one I use here, Genetically Swiss.

Re: Mystery stock cartouche

Can anyone tell me whether or not all P-series M-91’s made in the 1920’s left the factory with barrels in the white? If they were, then it would make sense that P-series M-91’s found today with blued barrels (assuming it was done by the Finns) were quite probably unused re-lined P-26/27 barrels blue...

Mystery stock cartouche

Hey guys, I am mystified regarding the stamp right in front of the butt plate of my Mosin-Nagant. It appears to be the Finnish ruotsalainen O, although the same letter is used by a bunch of Scandinavian countries. I can find no reference to it at mosinnagant.net or 7.62x54r.net. My Mosin-Nagant is a...
