It is not supposed to be in center. If scope is installed properly, reticle should centered at 900 meters distance setting

Reddish color is typical to some factory No.297 scopes. Likely it is caused by metal composition (with Silicon presnce), because during regular reblue they remain reddish (like SVT bolts)

All 1940 and 1941 (and partially 1942) scopes originally were issued for the SVT-40 snipers. Your scope is still calibrated for the SVT-40 ballistics

13 in oval is quality control marking from Arsenal No.1, which refurbished your SVT. Arsenal No.1 marking is present on the bridge - poorly stamped box and crossline.

Just to make sure you understood Ratnik. This is not a military made "sniper rifle". It was done by civilians. To be a "sniper rifle", it had to be done by the military arsenals or purchased by a military for that purpose. Anything else would be a rifle with a scope added on. Ac...

It's not correct. П in circle (or O in circle) marking at the reciver or at any other part except barrel - pressure or strength test with a special device
