Re: Enfield No.4 MK1*

Dolk that is a very nice one. I have 2 Enfields but I am currently looking at a nice jungle carbine. if I buy it then I'll need a No.5 stock as this one has been modified. The receiver, barrel, sights and all metal is real nice. I verified the lightening cuts too. Well, if you get there, I know som...

K-11 are a little harder to find I think, but not too bad.
I like the shorter K31 myself. easier to handle.

But either is a nice rifle.

Enfield No.4 MK1*

I'm not sure if I showed this much at the other forum or not. I love the actions on Enfields....sooo smooth! This was a "lend lease" rifle given over to the British from the US. Dolk http://www.thedolk.com/Enfield_Savage/IMG_2709_600.jpg http://www.thedolk.com/Enfield_Savage/IMG_2714_600.j...

Snipers!

Ok, by request we have a sniper forum. If it is not active, it could be moved into another forum or a sub forum. So Post away! My two VZ24 (Romanian) 8mm Mauser snipers. These are notorious for miss the mounts and scopes. Only the base usually remain. Dolk http://www.thedolk.com/VZ24_2/vz24_2_300.jp...

Re: M95 carbine, 'Budapest' in 8x56R

That's a nice M95. I like the stock. I have one but it is one of those that they refurbed and its finish is about an inch thick! No, it OK I guess. Kicks pretty good too.

I always love handing it to someone that is not familiar with straight pulls and tell them to open the bolt...and watch.

I didn't get that far. I have one about like that for my 82, so I never got as far as the shipping.

I just heard about them. How much was shipping?

We have 3 Big 5's around me close. Within 10 min drive. One of them has a "collector" working there and he buy up anything that is good for himself and his friends. There is never anything but junk left at that store. Well, not junk but you get what I'm saying. They do the same thing. Unpa...

Tula M91's 1891 to 1932 + or -. Love that grip, great shape, ever fire it? No, it was my Fathers and always sat in his sock drawer since I was a boy. I remember seeing it the first time around 1961. Re: Highly Polished presentation...yea, right....question

I actually kind of like this rifle, especially for the price, it looks honest. I think you said it best. I have a couple of M44's like that. If you "refinish them" the value in my eyes (as a collector) will diminish. It is worth more now in all it glory. All you can do is hurt the v...

That is really cool. I wish someone (or two) would do a "how to" photograph your barrel.

Those are some nice shots
